They are certainly very distinct from the Simla specimens I have seen, and much nearer A. jerdoni in outward appearance. Heyuemann's name would have well suited these gigantic Nepalese slugs ; but his description certainly applies to a much smoother animal, so well shown in his figure of a portion of the foot viewed from above (plate 1, fig. Ih), and which I reproduce on plate vii, fig. 4.
