The Upside-Down Catfish is an extraordinary fish due to its unusual habit of spending most of its time swimming or resting upside down. The habit comes from its surface feeding nature in the wild, where it browses the underside of leaves and the waters surface for mosquito larvae and other creatures. These catfish are peaceful and can be kept either singly on in groups in a community aquarium. Provide plenty of hiding spots and large leaved plants under which the catfish can browse. A varied diet will maintain good health.
