The Scissor Tail is a hardy and adaptable aquarium fish, which has few requirements and is well suited to a community of similar sized active and peaceful fish. Provide plenty of open swimming space and a few hiding spots. Although the Scissor Tail will adapt to varied water conditions, it does do best in slightly soft and acidic water. Keep in groups of four or more.
