The Dwarf African Butterfly Cichlid (Anomalochromis Thomasi) is a small and peaceful cichlid species native to Africa. They have a unique appearance with their elongated body shape, long flowing fins with red along the egde, and striking iridescent blue coloration. These fish prefer planted aquariums with plenty of hiding spots, as they are shy and will appreciate areas to retreat to. Anomalochromis thomasi are a schooling fish and do well in groups. They are also known to be excellent jumpers, so a tight-fitting lid is necessary to prevent escape.
