MONKEY SHRIMPS
Monkey shrimps are an interesting reef safe shrimp that are only occasionally available.
Monkey shrimps are shipped at 1”-2”, maximum size is around 2”.
Monkey Shrimp (Saron marmoratus) is one of the most colourful and weird-looking shrimp species in the marine aquarium trade. These shrimp are also commonly known as Marbled shrimp, Long Arms Marbled Shrimp, Saron Shrimp, Eyespot Shrimp, Carid Shrimp, and Buffalo Shrimp.
Saron Shrimp are hardy and easy to care for, therefore, they can be recommended even for beginners. They also have developed an ability to change their color to blend into the environment and avoid predation through camouflage.
