With 2020 needing to be reset, some signs of promise come from KTM as they release some information on their 20201 Off-Road line up. Minor changes to both the two and four-stroke lineup should brighten your day a little…even though the bikes are a bit grey.

With Covid spoiling any world release action, its all about online scrolling at the minute, and with KTM being one of the first to release 2012 specs, (as usual) it’s time to check them out.

2020 saw a huge overhaul for the KTM Off-Road range so it is no surprise that this year consists of minor tweaks to the suspension, engine and graphics across the 7 strong EXC range. Add the XC range in there as well and you have too many bikes to choose from. What a first world problem!

The WP XPLOR front fork has received minor updates for 2021 in the form of a pre-load adjuster on the top of the fork tube - this is for every EXC model. You might know that these come standard on the Husky range and now make their way to the KTM. This allows for quick and easy pre-load adjustment without the need for tools.

The KTM 150 EXC engine has been given a new cast piston which they claim with increase performance and consistency across the model.

The brands use of grey is also a new feature with that colour scheme not showing up so boldly since we can remember. Grey side board will definitely stand out as something different. Wonder how they scuff up compared to white or orange?

The 4-stroke range sees some extra mods to the 450 EXC and KTM 500 EXC specifically, in the form of a reworked shift locker - or you might know it better as the drum.
