Lionel Ritchie is known to wear a so-called chevron moustache.

It is shaped to angle downwards towards the corners of the mouth.

The name comes from the shape, since it looks like a chevron insignia, which resembles an upside-down V.

He told GQ that he uses tweezers to trim it.

Ritchie said: "So when you have what I call dead time, boredom, you're in a hotel or the dressing room, and there's a big ten-magnification mirror?

"Oh man! Turn that mirror on thy face."
