Ben Stiller pulls his best Blue Steel pout as he reprises his role as beauty conscious Derek Zoolander in the teaser trailer for Zoolander 2.

The two minute clip begins with a robotic voice narrating the beginning of time before the camera films inside a brain.

With cameras, hairdryers and the word ‘eugoogly’ flashing up on screen, it soon becomes clear that that brain belongs to Zoolander.

Working triple leopard print, the ridiculously good looking ‘model’ then flashes his best blue steel and asks the question that has puzzled mankind since the beginning of time: “If God exists, then why did he make ugly people?”

Stiller's character then fails to grasp the name of the highly anticipated film when it is written 2oolander ("but I don't spell my name with a 2") and Zoolander II ("Zoolander i, i?").

The highly anticipated sequel will also see Owen Wilson reprise his role as Hansel with Kristen Wiig, Justin Bieber and Billy Zane set to star alongside him.

Penelope Cruz, Jonah Hill and Cara Delevingne are also among those rumoured to be involved.

Zoolander 2 is slated for release in 2016.
