Product Description
This Minimal Art Object shows in three different views the faces of Gödel, Escher and Bach. It is inspired by the object on the cover of Douglas R. Hofstadters book "Gödel, Escher, Bach: an eternal golden braid". The object on the cover shows the shadow of the letters G, E and B, but our object shows their faces, in shadow but in a direct view as well.
The object consists of 256 cubelets. The shape of the object is derived from a 16x16 Latin Square, with constraints which cause an object with connected cubes in a 16x16x16 space.
This piece of art was chosen as "Best of Show" out of 250 art works, at the Bridges Conference in Finland 2016.
