Partula sp.
I'm not really sure what is the category for a snail.
Yes Lars.. Now they must transferred to Others as they are not classified in Arthropods.
you have put it into the wrong category...
Yes.. Snails counted in Others..!!
when you mean with category: artrophod or others. i have set my snails/slugs (arion vulgars/helix promatia) to others, because artrophod have legs even if they are invertebrates. snails are gastropods (gastropoda) (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arthropod)(... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gastropoda#...)
Snails are invertebrates.Scientific ClassificationIn scientific terms, snails are classified into the following hierarchy of animal groups: •Kingdom: Animalia (Animals)•Phylum: Mollusca (Mollusks)•Class: Gastropoda (Gastropods)•Order: Stylommatophora (Terrestrial Snails and Slugs)
May be extinct from original habitat. Long live world wide..
Well, the species you say is endemic to French Polynesia and it is now extinct in the wild. I don't think is rare, it just fell from a tree here.

I think you have got very rare specie.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Partula_toh...Shell design, Antenna style, snail size all matches.
Partula tohiveana
I have checked on net and spotting.
Thank you Ashish, I've updated it, but are you sure is that one? Because the range didn't say so.
All snails are from Mollusca Phylum so they are invertebrates...http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mollusca
This genus? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Partula_%28...
Moorean viviparous
For a snail, it is kind of cute.
I feel its tree snail
