• Christie Brinkley reveals her go-to concealer.
  • Instead of foundation, she uses Jones Road’s The Face Pencil concealer created by Bobbi Brown.
  • The 68-year-old shared all of her poolside makeup routine recommendations.

The decision to wear (or not to wear) makeup at the pool is one that’s hotly debated. Some might say, “What’s the point?” But Christie Brinkley is a proud supporter of the simple poolside makeup routine, and she recently shared her own, which includes a convenient concealer crayon created by makeup artist Bobbi Brown: Jones Road’s The Face Pencil.

After hydrating and prepping her face, neck, and décolletage with her SBLA Facial Sculpting Wand and Neck, Chin, and Jaw Sculpting Wand, Brinkley applied some concealer under her eyes. “I love these Jones Road concealer sticks,” she raved. Brinkley uses two shades, a “pale” one, and “one that’s a little more golden” blended together to make her appear more awake. “Boom, real quick and easy,” she said after dotting some pigment onto the skin.

The Face Pencil is a hybrid concealer-foundation product that easily neutralizes darkness and covers spots without the mess of a wand or pot. Just dot, blend, and go. It’s available in 25 shades, and it’s super lightweight—ideal for the pool.

Reviewers love them just as much as Brinkley does. “I’m 46, skin getting dryer, needed a change. If you apply these the way Bobbi Brown instructs, they are amazing! They are creamy and blend perfectly, even under the eye without enhancing any wrinkles,” one shopper wrote. “This is a great touch-up pencil on a whim,” another added. “This makes my morning routine so much faster,” someone else wrote.

“I didn’t want to put on a lot of makeup today because I’m [going to] go swimming,” Brinkley said. So, to follow the concealer, she lightly filled in her brows with Lancome’s Brow Pencil “to make you look a little polished,” swiped on SBLA Plump and Sculpt Lip Gloss, and applied what appears to be Westman Atelier’s Super Loaded Tinted Cream Highlighter for color on the cheeks. And of course, she added that she always wears sunscreen.

“Hope you find these quick tips helpful!” she captioned the post. We sure did—can Brinkley give a bad rec? We think not.
