Aulonocara SP. (Hybrid), OB Peacock Cichlid

This beautiful OB peacock cichlid is not native to the waters of Lake Malawi. These fish are hybrids, which are a cross breed of a male Aulonocara and an OB female Mbuna.

The Aulonocara stuartgranti (Usisya) or Flavescent Peacock Cichlid is a highly sought after species of Aulonocara found in Lake Malawi. Males display bright yellow and metallic blue colors. The Flavescent Peacock grows to be about 6” in length, is fairly mild mannered and a good choice for beginners or advanced aquarium owners.
