It's common name - Whirling Butterflies - says it all. This Southeast US Native is covered in airy white flowers that look like butterflies floating in the garden from early summer into fall. 'Summer Breeze' is an exceptionally robust and winter hardy selection. Attracts butterflies and hummingbirds; thrives in dry, well-drained soils. Plant when young and do not move as this plant grows from a thick taproot and resents being disturbed. Deer and rabbit resistant.
