Made with delicious chocolate and topped with our iconic ROLO®, this recipe is sure to stand out on your dessert menu and bring customers back to your establishment.

Ingredients
For the base
  • 100g plain flour
  • 20g cocoa powder
  • 140g caster sugar
  • 1 ½ tsp baking powder
  • 40g unsalted butter
  • 120ml whole milk
  • 1 egg
For the Topping
  • 180g chocolate butter cream
  • 72g ROLO® Mix-in
Preparation

    Beat the sugar and butter together till creamed

    Add the egg and beat again

    Sieve in the flour, cocoa powder and baking powder and fold together

    Next fold in the milk

    Split the mixture into 12 cupcake cases and bake for 15 – 20 minutes at 180 degrees

    Leave to cool, pipe on 15g of buttercream and add 3 ROLO® on the buttercream per cupcake
