A Former Victoria's Secret Model Spills on What It's Really Like Working With the Brand

There's absolutely no shame in daydreaming about what it would be like to be a Victoria's Secret Angel (and/or to have practiced a sultry runway walk around your apartment once or twice). And for all those out there that have wondered, model Erin Wasson is speaking out about her six years with the brand, and—hurrah—it's just as great as you'd imagine. Wasson on the Victoria's Secret runway in 2007 "It's empowering because, yes, you are owning your sexuality, you are owning your womanhood, and it's a wonderful brand that really empowers women," she told The Daily Mail. "It was great, it was like a family. It's like when you work with a company like that, it becomes a family, you travel the world together and you have experiences [in] the most beautiful locations all around the planet." Wasson went beyond the 2007 VS runway, modeling denim for the brand's spring '09 lineup and posing in its swimsuit catalog in 2011. Currently, she's the face of RE:Done, a high-end (and cult-favorite) line of reworked vintage denim.
