Ammannia senegalensis

Amania Senegalensis is a marsh plant in the wild, and originates in large areas of Africa. Under excellent growing conditions A. senegalensis is a beautiful addition to the aquarium. It exhibits a bronze to orange color depending on the lighting, with narrower, shorter leaves than A. gracilis. This is a plant that does best with strong light and supplemental CO2 as well as good nutrient supply.  But if you provide those, you can be rewarded with a beautiful stem plant with a lot of color.
