Description
The green fire tetra is a peaceful shoaling fish that is perfect for planted aquariums and community tanks. They should be kept in groups of 6 or more. As they mature they develop metallic light green body color and bright red bellies. Males develop white tips on their anal ,pelvic, and dorsal fins, while females have clear fins and generally have more rounded abdomen. They stay relatively small, their max size is 1.5-2in.
