Way back when in July 2016, former friends and makeup moguls Kat Von D and Jeffree Star got into a major Twitter row after Kat Von D posted an Instagram of Jeffree's face with a 'no entry' sign, saying that she wanted to 'disassociate herself from him'.

In a video on her YouTube channel, Kat claimed that Jeffree reportedly 'stole' artwork for his makeup brand from their mutual friend BJ - a claim that Jeffree denied in his own video - and her public outburst ended their ten year friendship .

On Tuesday night Jeffree uploaded a new video to his YouTube channel called: Full Face of Brands That Hate Me and after digging out a Kat Von D bronzer from his "makeup archives", he decided to elaborate on their feud.

"Before any of you try to chime in and if anyone is here that is a Kat Von D fan, let me just remind you of one thing. I was her friend for ten years, you've never met her. So do I know the real tea? Of course I do.

"If you do not know the scenario basically two summers ago my brand was sky rocketing, Kat Von D was stagnant and she decided to cross out my face and let the Internet know a bunch of crazy lies.

"Of course I responded and debunked everything that she said because she was completely full of shit and there's always just been weird tension ever since.

Before their fall out, Jeffree and Kat were such close friends that Kat even named one of her liquid lipsticks 'Jeffree' and in her original 2016 Instagram post she stated: "With a heavy heart I will be pulling the shade 'Jeffree' from my collection."

But Jeffree discovered that his namesake lipstick is still available and speculated that as Kat Von D Beauty is owned by Kendo, Kat doesn't have full control over her brand.

"If we all remember in Kat Von D's video about me she said that she would be removing the 'Jeffree' liquid lip from Sephora and her website. Well we just logged onto KatVonDBeauty.com which is her personal website and you can click right now and still buy the 'Jeffree' lipstick.

"The fact that you are the face of the brand and your names on the packaging and you couldn't even get my shade taken down... Can't relate. I own my own company."

It seems these former friends still have a lot of unfinished business as Jeffree went on to explain that while scrolling through YouTube he came across a video that was titled 'Kat Von D came for Jeffree Star'.

The video showed a screenshot from Kat's recent wedding video where someone had commented "Jeffree Star is watching this right now" with Kat allegedly replied "Jeffree who? ;)"

Cue the second part of Jeffree's YouTube rant.

"Jeffree who? How about Jeffree who had a lipstick with my mother f***ing name on it, with your company, for the last ten years. How about Jeffree that's in all your books, all your memories.

"I don't know why she's still talking about me, so I thought let me just respond so I can stop getting a million Tweets about it because it does get really old. It's like a constant reminder, an open wound."

While both Jeffree and Kat are no stranger to controversy (Kat's recent vaccination debacle springs to mind) it's genuinely sad to see a longterm friendship go through such a public ending and after uploading his YouTube video, Jeffree jumped on Instagram Stories to reiterate just why he is so upset.

"Before my brand was huge, before I was even on YouTube, I was friends with this person for such a long time, literally a third of my life.

"Just imagine for one second that you are me and someone that hated me so adamantly and made up so many false lies, is still making a profit of my name, that's why I got a little upset."

It doesn't look like the pair will be reconciling anytime soon, but we're just here for the makeup tbh.
