Gratiola viscidula is a fairly new plant species for the aquarium. We rarely encounter him in the aquarium hobby. This plant is native to North America and its underwater form has a "spiky" appearance. This makes it very easy to recognize.
Gratiola viscidula is easy to care for as an aquarium plant and prefers high-intensity lighting. It grows slowly and then reaches a height of more than 20 cm. The stems are quite robust and by regular pruning to the desired height, a dense forest can be formed over time.
Plant the stems separately in the substrate with fine tweezers. With its wispy appearance, it can be used to add a subtle detail to a layout, but care must also be taken to ensure that it does not look messy.
