Captive bred A. gigas can live up to 12-15 year in captivity. They are the largest millipede in the hobby. They can reach up to 12-15 inches.

Care: Millipedes require deep substrate. minimum they need substrate as deep as the are long. Then add lots of leaf litter.
Diet: Their substrate is their main diet and also add decay wood and leaf litter. supplement with other food such as squash, apples, bee pollen, and protein like prekilled dubias.
