NEW interview with BZ - Alexander Skarsgard: “Berlin is crazy good”

At the Berlinale, Alexander Skarsgård presented the psychological thriller “Infinity Pool”. BZ spoke to the Swedish actor.

Most beautiful man of the Berlinale ! This title could go to Alexander Skarsgård (46).

At least in his native Sweden, Stellan Skarsgård’s (“Dune”) son has been named sexiest man five times. Then Hollywood (“Legend of Tarzan”) got him. Skarsgård is now seen naked with a dog collar in the psychological thriller Infinity Pool, set in a remote beach resort. We met him at the Ritz Carlton.

You can also show off your well-trained body. Does it make you proud or do you find it silly to have been named the Sexiest Man multiple times?

(Alex) No, I look at it quite objectively and I think they were right every time (grins).

Skarsgard came to Sundance to promote his starring role in the Brandon Cronenberg-directed NC-17 flick — about tourists at a luxury resort who witness the repeated executions of their own clones, among other horrors — from the decidedly less-scary set of Succession, an experience he describes as “manicured” in comparison.
