Description
Melanotaenia australis is one of the more popular Australian rainbowfish in the hobby, and it's not hard to see why! With bold colours, sharp stripes, and a high activity level, they bring lots of life to mid-sized or larger community tanks. Like all rainbowfish, they are best kept in groups; a trio or more is strongly recommended.
These are juveniles around 1.5" long.
