Description
Apistogramma allpahuayo, formerly known as A. sp. 'Fanta' and A. sp. 'Black-Chin', is a recently described species from Peru. Belonging to the cacatuoides group withgin their genus, these are likely on the larger size for an apisto. Males develop a black 'goatee' marking, as well as a yellow body, orange face, and green tint to the fins. Care should be identical to A. cacatuoides.
These are captive-bred juveniles around 1" long, currently too small to sex with confidence.
