The Go-Go’s have shared a new song called “Club Zero,” marking their first single in 19 years. The track was self-produced by the group, and “created via email exchanges amongst bandmembers,” according to a press release. Listen to “Club Zero” below.

On August 1, the new The Go-Go’s documentary will air on SHOWTIME. The film is directed by Alison Ellwood (Laurel Canyon, History of the Eagles), and will include footage of the band working on an early version of “Club Zero.” The doc will also chronicle the group’s rise from members of the 1970s Los Angeles punk scene to chart-topping pop group.

The Go-Go’s’ last studio album was 2001’s God Bless the Go-Go’s. Read Pitchfork’s Sunday Review of the Go-Go’s’ 1981 debut Beauty and the Beat.
