Ipomoea carnea, the pink morning glory, is a species of morning glory. This flowering plant has heart-shaped leaves that are a rich green and 6–9 inches (15–23 cm) long.
Grow in well-drained, moderately fertile soil in a sheltered, sunny site. Protect in winter in cold areas.
To refresh this plant, cut its foliage way back every two to three years. This is best done in fall or winter. If you are growing bush morning glory in a shady spot, you may need to cut it back more often, as it can get leggy. Provide frost protection in the winter if your temperatures drop below 15°F (-9.4 C.)
