I thought I had seen it all, in International airport lounges. Till I came to the T3 Business Class Kris Flyer Lounge at Changi, in Singapore. It is the newly renovated Singapore Airlines extravaganza that, I can confidently say, has no rival in all the airports of the world. It is a sprawling area with ample spaces, geared to make any tired global traveller instantly decompress. There are a multitude of food options, with the accent on tasty and flavorful Asian dishes, and Singaporean delicacies. The ambiance is electric and the service high class. Food choices keep being refilled and new selections added as needed. And there are attentive staff, making sure nothing runs out. What a place. Other airlines need to watch out, this is a style and standard they will have to work very hard to even come close to.

Changi has been voted the best airport in the world for numerous years and there's nothing that can come close. It has over 100 food vendors, numerous shopping venues, including prominent high-end designers, a butterfly garden, a waterfall, and so much more. Imagine, a country so small as Singapore, has a lot to brag about. Some points to note. After the best airport, they also have the world's best airline, more Michelin restaurants than the whole of California, Marina Bay Sands, and a dynamic cultural and social scene. On top of that, Taylor Swift has chosen Singapore as her only Asian stop on her Eras Tour. She will perform to six fully sold out concerts in the beginning of March 2024. Let's switch gears. Not surprising then, that the food options at Changi are a pulsating representative of what they have in the city. Oh, to be in Singapore. Please bring me back again.

Terminal 3 was the best airport I've been in so far
I had to spend 2 eight hour layovers there in a recent roundtrip flight.
They have lots of areas to sit and relax
There is a " snooze lounge " with about 10 lounge chairs that you can sleep/ rest in - if you can find an available one. I was able to grab one on one of my layovers but it was packed the 2nd time around.
There is a butterfly garden which is cool
And there is a free movie theater with movies that play all dayHelpful 4Thanks 0Love this 3Oh no 0 - Tom G.Rutherford, NJ278115726387Jul 23, 2022
Overall, this is a pretty clean, spacious, huge, and modern airport terminal. I will admit, the layout of the place did confuse me for a second until I saw the Terminal Map and where the tramway where to get to Terminal 1 and 2 , don't try walking it, this is place huge and it will take 30 minutes from one end to the other
Before doing the security check, do note that you can be turned away if you come too 3 hours to early. You will need to show your passport and boarding pass before doing the security check.
I recommend walking around and trying some food at the food court. For food, price ranges at about $10, depending if you get the meal as a set or not.
Overall, this visit to the terminal was pleasant and I would definitely would like to visit it again to see the other free features of the place. And the Gardens outside.Helpful 6Thanks 0Love this 5Oh no 1 - Sharon N.Portland, OR25242139Jan 4, 2023
Kind of confusing when we first walked in. Trying to figure out where our airline was and then finding out, they don't open for 2 hours.
They had clean bathrooms and a number of options of eateries.
Nice and friendly staff.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Brennan S.San Diego, CA17811244Feb 2, 2023
Before or after your flight drop in shop luxury til your head explodes and grab some amazing food at FoodStreet upstairs. Choose amazing Asian cuisine and stop by Burger King for a tarp pie. You can't go wrong especially if you have time for the butterfly sanctuary

Singapore is very organized and clean, get out to get a taxi and they help to get us a bigger taxi which is Alphard and the price is to our hotel at Chinatown was $42. You cant get a grab car to pick up at the airport. They sell Singapore Sim card for $50 minimum which we didn't buy, 5 years a go they sell the sim card only for $15, but I guess they no longer sell a $15 sim card that you can use for 7 days.

Made it easier and saved time for us.

Ok, doing 2 security screenings for X-ray and a third ID check at same is a bit excessive but tolerable and at least Immigration leaving was infinitely less maddening than arrival
But once you get thru there's no access to restrooms unless u leave, and re-check??? Worst planning process ever...Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 1 - Jan 21, 2019
I arrived here several hours before my flight took off because I wanted to walk around and check out some of the amenities of this airport I always hear about. My flight takes off from this particular airport. I love how there was a desk specifically for really early check-ins and the lady at the EVA Airways check-in counter was friendly.
Once inside the actual terminal (after going through customs and showing your passport and boarding pass), there's a food court near the A Gates and one on the 2nd floor going towards the B gates. Lots of stores from designer brands, to shoes, a Lego store, dedicated Sony store, electronics, duty free, souvenirs, etc. There's a movie theater with a regular sized theater screen showing Ant-Man and Avengers. There's also a good sized butterfly garden you can go into. Koi ponds near seats with electrical and USB charging ports.
Security is right by the gates. I tried going into early but the security guard lady said it's ok for me to come through 15 minutes before the flight. Unheard of and really cool.
Bottom line this is the most relaxing airport I've ever been to. I've never been so relaxed at an airport in my life. I wouldn't mind being stranded here.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Oct 20, 2018
One of the most beautiful airports that I have ever seen in my life. Perhaps it is the combination of the cleanliness of Singapore + the culture of its people. The airport is big and looks very new. The airport offers free 3hrs of wifi (i think per day) by scanning your passport thru the automatic machines that will give you an access code. There are multiple stations located throughout the airport for SIM cards. I was lucky to have found a 100Gb sim card for $12 Sing dollars.
In addition, there are multiple food stalls that you can buy traditional Singaporean food.
Now I want to visit more Singapore!Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0
