Huey Lewis, Molly Hatchet to rock Douglas County Fair

ROSEBURG, Ore. -- The Douglas County Fair has announced their rock entertainment for this summer's "Celebrate What's Great! Oregon's Birthday Bash."

Wednesday, Aug. 5, it's Huey Lewis and the News. This year marks their 30th anniversary, for the group that's known for many hits, including Power of Love, Heart of Rock and Roll, I Want a New Drug and Back in Time from the movie Back To the Future.
On Friday, Aug. 7, Molly Hatchet, a southern rock band from the early '70's will rock the fairgrounds. The band was named after a 17th century axe murderess, Hatchett Molly.
Performances start at 7 p.m. at the PremierWest Bank Amphitheater.
The two combine with country artists Gretchen Wilson on August 4, and Josh Turner on August 6.
New at this year's fair, a nightly "laser light show" after each concert near the main gate, to celebrate Oregon's birthday bash.
