About Syngonium 'White Butterfly'
Syngonium podophyllum is a popular, easy-to-care-for houseplant with beautiful arrowhead shaped leaves. You’ll often see these plants grown in their juvenile stage, but given something to climb on and abundant sunlight you may see them mature into their adult stage! The leaf shape changes as they mature and may even appear to split into three individual leaves. In the wild they can climb up to 65 feet tall. Be sure to handle them with care, as their sap contains oxalic acid which can be very irritating to the skin and eyes. 👀

Syngonium 'White Butterfly' can tolerate being far from a window and light source.
Place it less than 6 feet from a south-facing window to ensure it receives enough light to survive 💪.

How to fertilize Syngonium 'White Butterfly'
Most potting soils come with ample nutrients which plants use to produce new growth.
By the time your plant has depleted the nutrients in its soil it’s likely grown enough to need a larger pot anyway.
To replenish this plant's nutrients, repot your Syngonium 'White Butterfly' after it doubles in size or once a year—whichever comes first.

Helppppp… what’s the little white thingys on Bentley? (Zoom in 😉) I googled Thrips, but I’m not sure. Whatever it is it’s not moving, it’s on most of the bigger leaves. Was going to repot it today and noticed. Thanks in advance 🫶🏽🪴 #help #Syngonium #ArrowheadPlant

I was texting #PlantFriend @ShinyBudew and showing her Midori’s growth! I had to show the #GregGang because she deserved to be shown off! Midori is a #WhiteButterflySyngonium 🤍🌿💚 I got her July 12, 2022. I’ve repotted twice and she has been non-stop pushing out #NewGrowth like nobody’s business 🪴✨⚡️ 📸 The first 3 pictures were taken today, January 2nd. The last two were taken July 20, 2022. About a week after I got her 😊 #HappyPlants #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #PlantAddict #PlantTherapy #Syngonium #SyngoniumSquad #PlantCorner #BeforeAndAfter #GregGang #CentralTexasGang #kscapedream

Should I move him? I have this arrowhead that I got as one of my first plants, didn't know they like more shade and put him in my window, he's doing fine there but I'd like to move him to a more shady spot to make room for a ficus rubber tree I got from plant proper yesterday. It's a southeast facing window that gets a lot of direct sunlight, pretty much my entire room gets a bunch of bright indirect light, I've had him in this window for 5 months now. Will he be fine if I move him? #syngonium #plantsmakepeoplehappy #plantaddict #happyplants

Been MIA from Greg 😩 I miss my plant friends! I’ve had tons of #NewGrowth recently in my #PlantCorner but I’ll show off Midori #WhiteButterflySyngonium)! Midori outgrew her pot! Her little roots were starting to poke out of the drainage hole and her soil wasn’t taking in water properly, so I decided to repot her 🪴😄 She looks and feels like she loves her new home 🥹 she already started pushing out two leaves after repotting 2 days ago 🤩🌿✨ 📸 first pic is before repotting, second is her root poking out and third is her new pot 😁 #HappyPlants #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #PlantAddict #PlantTherapy #Syngonium #SyngoniumSquad #SyngoniumWhiteButterfly #PlantShelfie #BeforeAndAfter #GregGang #CentralTexasGang #kscapedream

I love my #GregFriends. #PlantFriendsAreTheBestFriends I quickly ranted to @ManyLime about Midori #Syngonium) catching #thrips and also made a post here, but look what I got in the mail yesterday! 😭😭 I know it’s just Systemic Granules but I refuse to receive gifts and because of that, I’ve not received much my entire life (and that’s okay!! I love to give much more than I like to receive, I make it my lifelong goal). I’ve been stressed out despite my home remedy working, but systemics kind of make you feel at ease when you use them! Thank you, Jennifer, for being an amazing friend and I appreciate you so much!! And all my other planty friends too! 🤍🤍✨ #HappyPlants #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #PestControl #Greggers #GregGang #PlantAddict #PlantTherapy #Gregging #CentralTexasGang #kscapedream

What other plant parents say
This plant bounced back from shipping really quickly. I have it under a grow light, in its original pot, 7-8 feet away from a north facing window with a porch and sheer curtain on it and it is doing great. Leaves are still unfurling and getting taller. The bottom leaves are yellowing, but that is expected. This plant hasn’t started climbing it’s stale yet, but I know by next year, it will be a monster! Exactly what’s needed in an indoor jungle!
