  • An analysis by the New York Civil Liberties Union found that the NYPD stopped 4,300 pedestrians in the second quarter of this year, a major increase over the last few years as stop and frisk continues to be a concern for New Yorkers.
  • Construction on Manhattan’s first film and TV studio will begin later this year at Pier 94, despite local pushback over the development’s property tax break.
  • Disappointed Mets fans may soon be able to ride out their frustrations all the way home on a Citi Bike if and when the service expands to Citi Field.
