An uncommon find at Petco today… Mud Morays (Gymnothorax tile)! Though sold as a freshwater animal, they really are brackish to fully marine (1.005 to 1.025) and normally last no longer than 6 months in freshwater. They are also likely to eat smaller fishes in the tank or bite larger ones. But all said, they are really cool fish for specimen tanks! One day I hope to have an appropriate sized free tank to keep them.
