Split tongue ?

Anyone else have a toddler with a split tongue and know what this is? Can it cause speech issues?

I was born with a split in my tongue. Nobody really knows what it is but I have minor speech problem

My husband has a split tongue and my new born too. I do notice a little bit of speech impediment (husband) but not something to concerning.
