The reflection of a finely cut Diamond under water is what the Diamond Tetra looks like. This beauties are like Fine wine, the older the better, seriously. There isn't much color to talk about in this fish, besides a little bit of red on top of the eye, but it doesn't need it. A mature specimen grows longer fins which is easily noticeable in males. Keeping Diamond tetras in a planted aquarium is a wonderful experience that you won't regret. The picture in this listing does no justice to what you will have when you grow them for a few months. The Diamond Tetras will grow to a max size of 2-2.5" inches.
