I am a conservative Christian patriot committed to the preservation and prosperity of the United States and Texas. A graduate of the University of North Texas, completing my B.B.A. in 1984. I have experience in the financial services industry, law enforcement, and small business, as the owner of a residential and light commercial construction co. I am a father, a husband, and grandfather.

  • The United States and Texas are in danger of failing. We are suffering the consequences of weak and incompetent leadership. Our Southern Border is wide open and unenforced, our elections systems are subject to fraud, and our children and adult members of society are subject to radical indoctrination agendas that have infected our boardrooms, classrooms and courtrooms. Our educational systems are burdened by overcrowding and severe discipline problems in many locations. Social justice has become the educational goal instead of critical thinking and our children are being poorly served. Too many elected officials are concerned with maintaining power and not at all with solving problems.
  • Voters have an opportunity and a responsibility to elect competent and committed problem solvers. We can no longer vote for someone on personality or popularity. Policy should drive the vote, and leftist policies don't solve anything. That is why I call myself a conservative. If you want your country or state to look like San Francisco or Chicago, vote for progressives/Democrats/Marxists. There is no discernable difference between them. If you want a safe, sovereign, and prosperous country, your only choice are conservatives who will insist on following the constitution. Notice I did not say Republican. We have a whole cadre of Texas House Republicans who don't follow the constitution and don't know what sovereign means.
  • The government in this country is out of control. The people we elect have decided in too many instances that we exist for their benefit. They are arrogant, entitled, and openly hostile toward anyone they see as challenging their authority. They believe they have the right to use law enforcement and the courts to destroy their political opponents. Tyrants never self-correct. The constitution provides for remedies to our current state, but those remedies are only as good as the people willing to use them. If the federal government will not adhere to the constitution, the states must take control of those responsibilities. The people have the power, and it is time to exercise it.

The border/immigration, the integrity of our elections, and the social engineering of our population. The weaponization of the criminal justice system and the destruction of our currency through spending and debt.

George Washington. He understood the value of the country he was fighting to form. He also was keenly aware of the corrupt nature of men with power.

Honesty, integrity, and self-discipline. Empathy for others. The understanding that accountability is necessary for good governance.

First, to understand that the government has, as its most basic responsibility, the safety of the citizens of the nation/state. Second, to represent the voters of your district.

Watching the fall of Saigon. I was 13. That was followed not too long after by the Iranian Hostage crisis. The lesson for me was bad decisions by incompetent policy makers result in lots of death. The world is a nasty place full of dangerous people, so you better be careful where you tread. Twelve years of police experience showed me exactly the same thing. There are lots of good people in the world, they just seem to elect really foolish folks that create a lot of problems.

I worked for a manufacturing company for the summer. It lasted about 3 months. It was fun and educational.

Classical gas, it took a while to learn it.

The realities of autism and how it has affected my son.

I Think the Govenor, and the legislature should work closely with one another to improve the process and coordination of the legislative process. In Texas we meet every other year. The legislature should be ready to go with bills to support the priorities of the citizens of the state. The legislature should also work to ensure that laws are enforced and state sovereignty is protected.

The issue of illegal immigration. legal immigration and the growth of the population from interstate migration.
There will be enormous pressure on the educational systems in Texas and they are not performing particularly well now. Housing affordability and infrastructure requirements. Layered over all that is the problem of elected officials that seem to have little to no understanding of the consequences of pushing social justice agendas in place of law and order. Societies fracture over the preaching of victimhood.

No, procedurally possibly, but my experience has been the longer someone is involved in government the more compromised they become.

Yes, but I strongly believe that defeating the opposition party and governing Texas like a conservative state is the real solution. Republicans in Texas have been far too willing to compromise with leftist Democrats. This has done nothing to improve the lives of
Texans. There are plenty of other states to live in, if you want to live in a Democrat controlled state, go live in California or New York.

Possibly, That depends on what happens in November. The landscape of America and Texas might be significantly different.

Not from my district in particular. The stories I find the most gut-wrenching happened closer to the border. I will not use the names of the people involved, but the death of an elderly couple on vacation struck by a human smuggler, the slaughter of a family of five in the Colony Ridge area, and a 16-year-old cheer leader who was brutally murdered by someone who stuffed her in the bathtub after he killed her come to mind. The notion that the elected officials of the State of Texas have refused to exercise the constitutional authority of their office to defend the sovereignty of the state and the safety of the people from criminal activity and foreign invasion is disgusting.

Yes, the governor should only be allowed to implement emergency powers for a very short period of time and only in limited circumstances.

A real border security bill that forms and authorizes armed border protection unit to stop illegal entry into
Texas. This bill would also include multiple penalties for commerce, support and facilitation of illegal immigration. I would like to explore the legal potential of passing legislation the holds federal elected officials criminally responsible for not enforcing federal statutes that result in the death or injury of the citizens of the State.

There is far too little financial transparency and virtually no government accountability. The people of Texas need to reassert themselves over the officials they elect. The budget process needs to be reformed and property taxes need to be abolished. A base rate budget needs to be established with increases voted on by the public.

I am a conservative patriot that believes in the goodness of the USA and understands the special place it occupies on the world stage. I have been an investment broker, a police officer and a small business owner in the construction industry. I have watched as America has been increasingly pulled further to the left by the Marxist/socialist agenda. I believe the Republican party has been complacent in dealing with this leftward pull, and that the vast majority of elected Republican office holders need to be replaced. I have chosen to pursue elected office as I cannot stand by and witness the moral and financial decline of this great country.

  • Government spending is completely out of control. The US Dollar is being devalued and our Nations's financial security is at risk.
  • Our borders and our national sovereignty are being destroyed. No nation can sustain unlimited illegal immigration, including the USA.
  • Federal bureaucracies have become hostile toward conservative patriots. The power and authority of the US Government is being applied in a biased and politically motivated manner. It is imperative that the institutions that are charged with enforcing the laws of the USA enforce them equally across all aspects of society.

Law enforcement and the obvious attempts by leftist to undermine the effectiveness of legitimate law enforcement authority. Encouraging civil unrest and lawless behavior create division and mistrust among the civilian population towards legitimate law enforcement activities. This is a deliberate strategy on behalf of Marxist to undermine the trust and cooperation between local law enforcement agencies and the citizens they serve. When you couple this strategy with the corruption of Federal government agencies, you set the stage for social breakdown. This issue MUST be addressed.

Ronald Reagan. President Reagan was an unapologetic proud American who understood the promise that America offered its citizens and the world. He understood that the world was a dangerous place full of dangerous people and that the failure of the American experiment would lead to chaos on a global scale. He believed, as do I, that he safest and most secure global condition is one that includes a strong and prosperous USA.

Ensuring the appropriate use of federal dollars, engaging in oversight of federal agencies, and ensuring the national security of the USA

A legacy of protecting the USA and its Judeo-Christian roots.

Summer employment in a manufacturing facility.

It is the legislative branch from which spending bills originate. As such, it has enormous power regarding what policies are implemented using federal funds. It also is the most responsive body to the concerns of the citizens because of the length of Congressional terms.

Absolutely not. Almost every politician has been compromised due to extended exposure to the "political process". The longer politicians are in office the more they owe their existence to financial backers. Citizens who are required to live under the rules politicians create are in a much better position to represent themselves.

Globalization, erosion of national sovereignty, and Federal over-reach and hostility towards the American people

No. I believe it should be a 3-year term which would allow 2 full years to devote to policy issues before you would have to involve yourself in campaigning. If they were extended to 3 years, I would support limiting each Representative to 3 terms.

I support term limits. Four terms for US Congress, 2 terms for US Senate and 2 terms for US President.

I am aware of numerous Veterans who have suffered severe bodily injury while in the service of their country. Many struggle daily with the results of these injuries and it should be the responsibility of the federal government to ensure that our service members who suffer such injuries are properly cared for and it is disgusting that as a nation we import millions of illegal aliens into the country while neglecting the needs of people who fought for our freedom.

Only if the end result is policy that improves the long-term prosperity and survivability of the USA. I am not in favor of compromise to benefit selected groups within society.

I believe that the federal government needs to be severely curtailed in its ability to select winners and losers in society. They budget process allows federal representative to allocate money for a number of leftist societal causes that should be eliminated. The revenue spent by the federal government, should be regulated to those activities that are necessary for the bureaucracies to engage in their core constitutional responsibilities. Anything else is unnecessary spending and is essentially governmental bribes.

Campaign website

Gallo's campaign website stated the following:

VINCE'S PLATFORM

Pro Second Amendment – This the only thing that stands between your freedom and tyrants.

Border Security Is National Security – The U. S. military should be deployed to secure our borders. Any politician that refuses to call for this is lying when they tell you they want a secure border. No border, No country, it’s that simple.

Pro Life – Babies are people too. They are the most innocent among us and should be protected, not destroyed. People who kill children for the sake of convenience, have no moral compass and are perfectly willing to kill anyone else they label as an inconvenience.

Men are men, woman are women – There are two and only two genders. No one should be forced to participate in or support the fantasies of those seeking to redefine reality. Your behavioral choices do not entitle you to force others to accept or advocate for those choices.

Public education should be limited to reading , writing, and arithmetic– The indoctrination of our children with leftist anti-American ideas is unacceptable. Stoking racial hatred in schools should result in the loss of an educator’s teaching credentials.

Election Integrity is a necessity. Paper ballots and state issued I. D. are the only way to achieve this. Mail in Ballots should be highly restricted and highly scrutinized to insure they are valid.

Decouple from China– China is a communist country set on world domination. Our foreign policy should not be designed to empower, enrich, or embolden communist China. They are responsible for unleashing a bioweapon on the global community and have not been held accountable. They have every incentive to do it again.

The constitution is the supreme law of the land. Too many people in Washington DC believe they are the supreme rulers of the land. FIRE THEM![4]
