All 6 DOA

I ordered 6, and all 6 arrived deceased. Judging by the cloudiness of the water and the smell, they must have died early during transport. I ordered 6 panda cories and 12 kuhli loaches at once, all of the kuhlis arrived alive and spunky, so this seems to be a panda Cory issue and not a shipping issue. 5 stars for the kuhlis, 1 star for the cories. I was refunded for the cories.

Trouble with pandas. Melafix and bloodworms do the trick.

I ordered a group of panda cories along with a group of sterbai and blue emporer tetras. Had one DOA sterbai and multiple pandas. Per policy the doa's were handled promptly, kudos to aquahuna.

In the week following I had some trouble with my pandas. Had a couple more casualties, and again the claims were processed as advertised in a super timely fashion. The pandas developed what appeared to be similar to Columnaris. White lesions/wounds/growths…I don't know. Accompanied by severe fin rot. A couple of the poor guys almost didn't have any tail or dorsal fins in just a day or two. Early on I attempted to isolate the ones I could net without tearing my hardscape apart in a makeshift hospital tank, but quickly abandoned that concept as it seemed to stress them further and they only made it a couple hours in the hospital tank.

This all happened in a 55g with several schools of various tetras, a trio of dwarf gouramis, and my two Cory groups. The pandas were the only species to exhibit any symptoms of this condition. The sterbais exhibited some frantic glass surfing “stressed” behavior but no physical symptoms. New tank after shipping woes i reckon.

I guess my main point here is that my pandas responded really well to a bloodworm heavy diet and melafix. If I'd dosed it out of the gate I might have fared better, but I didn't know. Secondly, I don't blame aquahuna at all. I think Cory cats and specifically pandas are just a little more fragile than the average fish

Bad batch?

I ordered the 6 pack and now I'm down to 2 in just a little over a week. It did take them 5 days to arrive so maybe it's just delayed shipping stress, but it's not fun losing them one after another. A couple of leopard corydoras have died too. The ricefish and loaches in the same order are doing well.
