Note: The shrimp are shipped with a sponge. The shrimp may bury themselves inside of this during shipping, so please make sure to check for shrimp in the sponge before throwing it away!

Domestic shipping only!  Sorry, we cannot ship to anyone in Hawaii & Washington State.

We ship on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday via USPS Priority.  Once we get your order, we will ship it within 1 to 3 business days.  For the safety of the animals, we do not ship aquatic life on Thursday and Friday. We do not want live aquatic animals sitting in USPS warehouse over the weekend. Thank you for your understanding.

Note: Shrimp can live in the shipping box 2 weeks / 14 days + They can handle COLD!

When you receive the shrimp, if the water is very cold, let them sit in the open shipping box for 2 hours before you put them in the tank.

Slowly warming them up is very important! 

Note:  Shrimp are very hard to count.  Please put them in a small container, then count them!

Make sure to check the sponge they are shipped with for shrimp before throwing it away.

Ideal water temperature for cold water shrimp: 65 to 70 degrees Fahrenheit

Mix of Colors Understated

The shrimp I got about 6 weeks ago are very healthy and it looks like 1 or 2 might even have berried already, so in that sense I am very happy. I also was not bothered by the variety of green colors I got. Almost every shrimp is a unique shade that gives my little colony some character.

That said, I have some that are so dark they look black (not a huge deal - they're maybe just REALLY dark green), but I also have a couple that are blatantly orange. I don't have another tank to put them in and I don't love the idea of just killing them, so at this point I am hoping they just live a peaceful life of abstinence so the green stays the predominant color. All-in-all not a terrible deal price-wise, but the orange shrimp in the mix were a pretty unwelcome addition and both the seller and buyers should be aware.

Rather disappointing

So I understand there was a warning about the color in these guys. But the warning doesn't scratch the surface at how not green these shrimp are. I spent 40 bucks on 6 low quality blue dreams, 1 black shrimp, and one greenish grey shrimp.

I could have spent 4 dollars and gotten similar results locally.

Only reason I gave 2 stars is because I enjoy this company and they arrived alive and extremely quickly. But these shouldn't be sold as greens. the colors that aren't greens should have been removed instead of sold as is.
