I ordered these fish knowing they tend to be very sensitive to shipping but I really wanted them so decided to take the risk. As expected, they arrived looking in pretty rough shape. Very pale, very stressed, very weak. Out of 12, there was one that looked near death and a second that I expected to go that route as well. After a super slow acclimation (several hours), I added them to their tank (with only neocaridinas as tank mates) and let things play themselves out. By the next day, everyone was looking better except for the one who continued to struggle and eventually died. The remaining 11 (even the one I thought might die) get stronger and more colorful every day. During their first few days, they stayed clumped tightly together and were very skittish but today is Day 4 and they are finally spreading out and exploring their tank. All in all, I'm very happy with how it all went down. One loss out of 12 for a fragile fish is a win in my book. And did I mention how beautiful they are?

Bought 6, one was DOA. Put them in my quarantine tank and, despite essentially perfect water levels, I've lost all but one. The ottocats I got with them are doing fine and are moving into their new home this weekend.

Bought 18 and only one DOA aquahuna shipped it in 3 different bags, 6 fishes in each bag which is very helpful and the fishes has been with me for two weeks now in my quarantine tank and they are still going strong. Will buy 30 more in two weeks.
