Dwarf Puffer fish are delightful small freshwater fish (unlike most puffers which are a lot larger and require brackish water). The grow to a maximum of about 1 inch and are very curious and intelligent fish. They get bored easily, can be very territorial, and require pristine water conditions so it is important to give them an exciting environment filled with plants (preferably live) and a couple of hides/caves. They are an adorable little fish, can be very active, and their inquisitive nature is very easy to get attached to. They will often follow you as you move around their tank and eye you up and down. I highly recommend them for people that have an established tank with a good knowledge on fish keeping and want a small, smart fish. Click on the links below for a break down on their requirements.
