Richard B. Cheney had a very long career in politics, working in the administrations of four different presidents: Nixon, Ford and both Bushes. Over his career, among other roles, he served as the White House Chief of Staff, Secretary of Defense, and finally the 46th Vice President of the United States from 2001 to 2009.
