MUMBAI, June 10 (Xinhua) -- Indian commuters catch buses during rush hour as lockdown eases in Mumbai.

India's western state of Maharashtra on Tuesday crossed the grim milestone of 90,000 cases with its political capital Mumbai over 50,000 COVID-19 cases after adding 2,259 and 1,015 fresh cases respectively on Tuesday.

On Tuesday, Mumbai reported 58 deaths, taking the total deaths in the city to 1,758.
