Melanie Johnson is a Licensed Social Worker (License # 44SL06603200), under the supervision of Leslie Malnak, MSW, LCSW (License # #44SC01016500). She holds a Masters of Social Work from Ramapo College, a Masters of Arts in Counseling from Westminster Theological Seminary, and a Bachelors of Arts in Psychology from William Paterson University. Melanie works primarily with adults, adolescents, tweens, and their families. Her areas of focus include, but are not limited to, anxiety, depression and mood disorders, other psychiatric disorders, co-occurring disorders, chronic illness, disability, trauma (including medical trauma), life transitions, and spiritual concerns. Her work and volunteer experience include supervisory and clinical roles on a Program for Assertive Community Treatment (PACT) team, county-based intensive case management, pediatric palliative care, college disability services, and church disability ministries. When not counseling, Melanie enjoys exploring arboretums, spending time with friends and family, and creating allergy-free foods.
