CHAMPAIGN, Ill. (WCIA)– A restaurant that opened less than a year ago is closing its doors. Krekel’s announced this would be the last day they would be open. One of the managers at the store says there were some legal issues going on with two of the restaurants.
Because of financial issues, they had to close. They say they’re hoping to reopen in the future. There are 5 other Krekel’s locations in Decatur and Mt. Zion.
