Tyra Banks will return to the role of host on the upcoming season of VH1's 'America's Next Top Model.'

Tyra Banks is returning to a familiar spot — in front of the camera — on America's Next Top Model.

Banks, who created the popular modeling competition, will host the upcoming season on VH1. Production begins this summer.

The producer, businesswoman and supermodel will have a busy schedule. She also will be hosting America's Got Talent, which NBC announced earlier this week.

Banks, who hosted ANTM  for many seasons and serves as executive producer with Ken Mok, will take over hosting duties from pop star Rita Ora. Banks gave up that role when the series moved to VH1 last year after ending a long run at CW and WB. Additional panelists will be announced at a later date.

“I’m overwhelmed and humbled by the intensity of the ANTM fan base whose deep affection for the show led me to have a change of heart," Banks said in a statement. "After giving it a lot of thought, I realized that remaining behind the camera wasn’t enough because ANTM is woven into my DNA.”

Mok welcomed Banks back to the hosting role and thanked Ora.

“Tyra has always been the heart and soul of the franchise and her absence was deeply felt by our fiercely loyal fans who missed their Queen of the Smize," he said in a statement. "We'd like to thank Rita Ora for being a great partner and total pro.  She infused this new iteration of ANTM with passion and creativity and we wish her nothing but the best in her future endeavors."
