Brisbane In 24 Hours

Thetraveljunkie.org – Unreal! I lived in Brisbane now for a better life. In today’s post, I wanted to take you around the city and show off the many different things Brisbane has to offer. The best thing to start the morning is to have a cup of coffee (especially when it’s 9 degrees outside). Australia has one of the highest coffee consumption rates in the world and finding a coffee shop is pretty easy. This time we went to The Brooke in Fortitude Valley. The coffee is delicious and the location is great with outside seating giving views of the Church across the road.

Brisbane is also known for its shops and design. I found James Street a few meters away from my breakfast spot and I have to say that it’s a must-visit area for anyone who loves shopping.

The city is made for walking, biking, and e-scootering, so after the post-coffee adrenaline and James Street visit, I headed to the State Library of Queensland. What an experience!

To grab a bite with friends, and as per someone’s recommendation, we headed to Maya Mexican, a rooftop spot spotlighting Mexican-Australian fusion dishes and drinks in a stylish open-air venue.

My next target: is Roma Street Parkland. After so much e-scootering around the city, exactly what anyone will need before getting lost in a busy night…

I finished the afternoon at Friday’s Riverside, the best place for waterfront dining and 180-degree views of the Brisbane River and the iconic Story Bridge. After this, we recommend that you head back to South Bank on the ferry to enjoy the sunset.

Stay tuned for more of adventures in Australia.
