Sarah Michelle Gellar is one proud mama! The Buffy The Vampire Slayer star revealed one of her 14-year-old daughter Charlotte’s new skill — plus rare new photos of the teen! — and we are in awe.
Gellar, who is currently vacationing on a tropical island with husband Freddie Prinze Jr. and their second child Rocky, 11, posted about her daughter’s talent on Instagram. “Getting ready for the surfing comp,” Gellar captioned a photo on her Instagram story. Charlotte is wearing a navy-blue hoodie over her swimsuit. She stands on the grass and gazes out at the waves ahead, with her blue surfboard on the ground next to her. Charlotte is standing next to a friend, who is wearing a white hoodie and has a matching blue surfboard.

In the next photo, Charlotte is on her stomach on the board, paddling in the water with her feet in the air back toward the waves. “Charlotte and her partner came in third!!” Gellar praised. That’s pretty impressive!
The Wolf Pack star also posted several photos on her Instagram grid, including one with the family all paddling in a kayak together and one family photo at sunset on the beach. She also posted a family photo where she is standing in between Charlotte and Rocky. They are standing on the grass, with palm trees and an ocean behind them, soaking up the sun with their arms around each other for the sweet snap.
“Vacation dump #2– family and friends,” she captioned it.
Gellar and Prinze Jr. often take their kids on amazing vacations. They went to Florence, Italy, in July 2023. “Siamo arrivati (let the Prinze family Italian adventure begin) #florence,” Gellar captioned a photo on Instagram. She also shared several pictures of their kids taking in the architecture and beauty of Florence.

Charlotte in particular seems to be growing up fast. On her birthday in September, the Do Revenge star wrote a heartfelt tribute to her teen.
“They say daughters give you an equal number of wrinkles from smiling and worrying,” Gellar said. “Charlotte, from the day you were born, I smile bigger, laugh louder and love so much greater.”
“And as for the worrying, you are a part of me. One of the best parts of me,” she continued. “I love every inch of you (even the teenage part) I must be the luckiest person in the world, because you call me mom. Happy Birthday Charlotte. #happybirthday #14.”
