But it seems as though, despite her incredible connections, Iman doesn’t want her daughter to join the biz. “Every agency, every designer, called me to say: ‘If she wants to, we’d love for her to model for us,’” Iman told Porter magazine in 2018. “I said: ‘No, she doesn’t.’”
She told the publication that her daughter is a talented painter, who was taking a gap year at the time “against my wishes”, adding that she suspected the model agencies just wanted her to be a model “because she is David Bowie’s daughter”.
