Torno Loco Datura ceratocaula

Torno Loco (Datura ceratocaula)

$6.00Price

Datura ceratocaula is a rather unusual one with purple markings through the center and 5- 6 inch flowers. This is my first year growing this variety and still learning its habit due to its origin. The flower has a sweet smell. It is an annual plant that originally came from Mexico. In its natural habitat Datura ceratocaula grows in shallow water or in a swamps. The seeds were pretty easy to germinate and seem to love heat and sun. I suppose its not really a Thorn-apple because the seed pods are thorn-less.
