Thanks " HOOD " for putting up the pics for me, so hopefully i might be able to get a positive I.D. on these as well . i was sold them as Placidchromis sp. " Chilimba bays" and look pretty much like the fish in the top pics which seen to be a diferent sub specie. I'll try and get some better pics tomorrow.

If you check the big sky cichlids page they list:
Placidochromis sp. "electra superior" male 85 mm TL

Distribution: Deepwater habitat of Mandalawi located offshore of Mbamba Bay, Tanzania; perhaps also in Mbamba Bay (see Konings 2001).
Maximum Size: ~125 mm (5.0 in)
Maturity: ~75 mm (3.0 in)
Food: Omnivore; mix of dry and frozen (or live) foods
Reference: Konings (1995, 2001) -listed as P. sp. "mbamba"

that's a shame , they are a nice looking fish and you dont see very many over this side of the country.
