Juliette Lewis was briefly hospitalized for injuries sustained in a hit-and-run Wednesday night. 
Juliette Lewis was injured in a hit-and-run accident Wednesday night, her rep confirmed.
The actress was in a Lincoln Town Car being driven by someone else after appearing at an event for her upcoming film “Conviction” when a Honda “broadsided” her vehicle in Burbank, Calif.
According to TMZ.com, the car was “completely totaled” and the driver of the Honda didn’t stay to see if anyone was injured.
Lewis “went to the hospital to be checked out and is a bit banged-up and sore but otherwise thankfully okay,” her rep said, adding that, “She is now resting at home.”
The Honda was reportedly found abandoned a few blocks from the crash site, a law enforcement source told the gossip site, and an investigation to find the driver is ongoing.
