So my wholesaler recently got in a rather obscure type of tetra, Micralestes stormsi. They have it listed as a "red-spotted congo tetra", although it apparently doesn't have a common name. Upon closer inspection, I found that it wasn't quite a tetra, but rather a true Alestid, like the tigerfish. And from the few pictures I've found, it really does look like one. They're rather pricey, at about 8 bucks each.
So does anyone have any experience, or any information at all really, about Micralestes stormsi or its close relatives?
