Very interesting session at OecherLab about 'Betriebliche Elektromobilität' (Corporate Electromobility) yesterday. Many thanks again to Stadt Aachen for the invitation to present #research in this field. Stadt Aachen also provided very enlightening insights into the ambitious plan to become a climate-neutral city by 2030. The focus on diverse #mobility forms is key, with #electrification playing of course a key role both for mobility and transport. Christian Thommes presendeted also the fantastic initiative of clever mobil, offering analysis and mobility recommendations for companies, including free trials of different forms of sustainable mobility for employees. Yesterday, at Verlag Der Tagesspiegel’s Future Mobility Summit in Berlin, Dr. Michael Jackstein, our CFO and CHRO at TRATON GROUP, had the chance to discuss the future of sustainable mobility with Dr. Manja Schreiner, transport minister of the federal state of Berlin, and with Christoph Weigler, general manager at UBER for the German-speaking region. All three panelists agreed that the change in the mobility sector can only be successful if all relevant parties are involved and committed: the society, the industry, and the politics. In the discussion, Dr. Jackstein emphasized that trucks are the backbone of our society and can, due to their high mileage, contribute majorly to the #decarbonization of the transportation sector. The industry has here already embraced the transformation, our battery-electric vehicles will be available from 2024 on. But what is missing, is the charging infrastructure for battery-electric trucks in Europe. Here, we are depending on the politics: only if political decision makers quickly create the right framework conditions, the road freight transport has the chance to accomplish its major contribution to climate protection. Dr. Jackstein also highlighted the importance of our employees in this transformation process. They are the heart of our product and we as a group see a great importance in preparing them for the changes at an early stage. STELLA Futura gears up! At the moment, a lot is happening here at STELLA Futura. It is noticeable that the green transition has gained considerable momentum. We have already done more than 50 integrations of battery systems around Sweden and have recently concluded a number of agreements for large installations. The demand from our customers has increased significantly, and halfway into our fiscal year we have secured orders of over 350 mSEK (30 mEuro). Read more about our new look. We are proud to announce the successful handover of our emission-free QUANTRON CIZARIS to Omnibus Amann, owned by Markus Amann, by Bavarian Prime Minister Dr. Markus Söder, together with an incentive of over €190.000 for climate friendly buses. This milestone echoes our commitment to contributing to the climate neutrality goals set by the Free State of Bavaria. The transition from diesel-powered buses to electric fleets is undeniably a challenging task. We at Quantron, are grateful to be part of this paradigm shift and to aid the public transport sector in its transformation towards sustainability. We are thrilled to actively support decarbonisation efforts in Munich and throughout Bavaria. The Free State of #Bavaria has made significant strides towards its goal of becoming climate-neutral by 2040. It has committed 95 million euros in 2023 alone to support transport companies in converting to climate-friendly vehicles and installing the necessary charging infrastructure. Our all-electric QUANTRON CIZARIS 12 EV city bus embodies our vision of green and future-proof mobility. It has the potential to carry 85 passengers on a single charge for around 400 km, completely CO2-free. We believe this is a significant step towards cleaner and quieter urban transport. Together, we can make the world a better and more sustainable place for generations to come!
